  • When is Windmill Retreats open?

    We are open each year February through until December, subject to weather conditions.

  • How do I make a booking?

    Bookings can be made online here. A 60% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 4 weeks prior to your arrival. For last-minute bookings, full payment is required upfront.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure online booking system.

  • What types of accommodation do you offer?

    We offer two beautiful glamping options:

    Shepherd’s Huts – Cosy, quirky and fwell-equipped.

    Geodomes – Stylish, spacious and perfect for couples seeking a romantic retreat.

  • Do the Geodomes sleep more than two people?

    While designed for couples, the Geodomes can accommodate a small child as well. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

  • Do the Shepherd’s Huts and Geodomes have their own bathrooms?

    Yes, each Shepherd’s Hut is fully equipped with all the home comforts you need, including bathroom facilities.

  • Is there a campfire or BBQ area?

    Yes, each accommodation includes its own private campfire area—perfect for toasting marshmallows under the stars!

  • Are pets allowed?

    Please contact us directly if you’re hoping to bring your furry friend along, and we’ll let you know if we can accommodate.

    Pets are charged at £15 per pet per stay.

  • Are there any shops or places to eat nearby?

    We’re just a short drive from the spa town of Harrogate, which offers plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes. Specific recommendations on places to eat can be found in your welcome pack.

    We are also in the process of opening an onsite shop containing some useful essentials for your stay.

  • Where is Windmill Retreats located?

    We’re set on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near the Yorkshire Dales, and only a short drive from Harrogate.

  • What is there to do nearby?

    Explore the stunning Yorkshire Dales, enjoy scenic walks, discover local wildlife, or head into Harrogate for a bit of town life.

  • Is there parking available on-site?

    Yes, there is free parking available for all guests.
